Buckminster Fuller (1895–1983) was an American architect and inventor. Experimenting with sleep reduction, the scientist created a [[Special:MyLanguage/Schedules|sleep schedule]] named Dymaxion. Sticking to the schedule, Fuller took a [[Special:MyLanguage/Naps|nap]] every time his primary energy evaporated, at the first sign of fatigue. These intervals came about every six hours, and the length of naps was 30 minutes.

The experiment lasted 2 years. The reported result: “The most vigorous and alert condition I have ever enjoyed”. Eventually Fuller had to quit because the schedule conflicted with his business associates, who insisted on sleeping like other men.
