Dual Core 1, or DC1, is the first [[Special:MyLanguage/Dual core|Dual Core]] schedule, which is the result of cutting some sleep from the second core of Segmented and the addition of one daytime nap to compensate.<ref name="polysoc" /> DC1 is also considered a relatively easy schedule, and is often recommended to beginners.
